I'm assuming that it's $70,000 for the 7.13 acre parcel. That's not bad at all. Where I'm from (both places...Burns Lake, B.C, and Kamloops, B.C), you'll have a hard time matching that price. We've gotten closer now that the recession has shown it's face in Canada (http://www.squidoo.com/impact-of-the-recession-on-the-kamloops-real-estate-market), but it wasn't as bad as down there.
