NEW LISTING! 43 Acres Bordering Public Land Spring & A Building Site Near Wolf Creek, Montana

This Montana property is in two parcels, has a spring/creek and a cabin site, and borders both State and BLM land, all on a gated road in the forested mountains of Montana with elk and deer hunting. That’s right; a Montana mountain spring pours out of the ground right on this property and flows down by the site where your log cabin could be built. You could sit on the porch, listen to the water rushing by, put a picnic table by the edge, and enjoy meals and quiet time in the shade of the trees next to the creek. The wildlife, like the lush grass the spring provides here and the big timber that gives them cover and shade as well. The creek and cabin site are right next to the State and BLM land, too, where you’ve got extra elbow room to hike, hunt, and recreate. You can hike right onto these lands and enjoy to your heart’s content. You’ve got elk and deer hunting right on your own property, and you’ve got all this extra State and BLM land right out your back door, and you can hunt as well. Or you can take a short ride to the vast amounts of National Forest lands nearby. There are thousands and thousands of acres of National Forest and the Continental Divide just southwest of the property. You’ll be able to glass the elk and deer right from the ridgeline of the property and then go after whichever ones you want. And if that’s not enough, the Bob Marshall Wilderness and the Rocky Mountain Front are just to the west. There’s a road right to the small natural bench where you can build your Montana dream cabin in the mountains or pull your camper in and get away. Right out of the cabin, you’d be sitting high in the mountains of Montana, surrounded by trees, meadows, and wildlife, and it’s all right there on your property. The views are incredible, as you’ll see in the pictures. It’s hard to describe how incredible this setting is. The gated access road to the property is in good shape and is only about ¼ mile from Little Wolf Creek Road, a county road. And there’s great fishing nearby, too. You’ve got the Missouri River and Holter Lake just down the road, only 15 miles away at Wolf Creek. Both are phenomenal fisheries. The headwaters of the Blackfoot River, the famed river from the movie “A River Runs Through It,” are just over the Continental Divide as well. You’ve got so many choices when you own this great Montana property. Power is a long way off, so off the grid is the way to go here. It’s about 8 ½ miles, mostly county road, to get to the pavement on Highway 434 and 3 more miles to Interstate 15. The small town of Wolf Creek, which is only about 12 miles away, has a gas station and supplies. For an airport, fine dining, and shopping, it’s only about 50 miles from Helena, Montana, which is our State Capitol near the center of Montana. Don’t wait to get your piece of the Montana pie. For more information, contact Scott Joyner at 406-223-6039. $195,000.

  2. Wowza, a Montana mountain paradise! Imagine sipping coffee to the creek's melody. Speaking of natural wonders, this spot sounds amazing, bordering State and BLM land—score! Elk, deer, and timber… oh my! Once, our family's camping trip turned into a muddy mess when a surprise downpour flooded our campsite, very similar to the unpredictable mountain landscape. I needed to quickly devise a new Slope Game plan, so we relocated to higher ground and salvaged the trip with some indoor board games in the car.

  3. This sounds like an amazing opportunity for anyone dreaming of owning a piece of Montana! The combination of bordering public land, having its own spring, and the proximity to great hunting and fishing is hard to beat. It's also nice to know Helena is close enough for amenities. Speaking of first impressions, I wonder which photo would best capture the spirit of this property for a listing. It might be interesting to use something like the Attractiveness Test to help pick the most captivating image!

  4. Wow, Montana sounds incredible right now, doesn't it? Spring and a building site near Wolf Creek, talk about a fresh start! This listing is really appealing because it’s got public land bordering it. It's like a gateway to endless adventures. Gives me a vibe that reminds me of when I tried to build a treehouse as a kid with no real plan, and ended up with a teetering monstrosity held together with wishful thinking and hope. It’s all about doing it right. I hope the new owner makes good use of it, those drift hunters sure would love this.

  5. Montana mountain springs and elk, oh my! Imagine waking up to that rushing water. Speaking of rushing, finding the perfect secluded spot is harder than it looks. It's all about the elbow room, isn't it? The thought of building a cabin by that creek is incredibly appealing, pure serenity. Once, I tried organizing a camping trip for a huge group and finding a spot that accommodated everyone's needs felt like beating geometry dash on insane difficulty! Getting space, accessibility, and good views was a logistical nightmare.

  6. Wow, this sounds like an absolute dream! The thought of a cabin nestled in the Montana mountains, surrounded by nature and with those views... incredible. My own getaway isn't quite so scenic, but I get my competitive fix shooting hoops on Basketball Stars. It's a great way to de-stress and a fun way to unwind. Maybe one day I'll be building that Montana cabin and practicing my free throws with that view!

  7. Wow, this sounds like an absolute dream! The thought of a log cabin nestled by a mountain spring in Montana, with elk and deer hunting right on the property, is incredibly appealing. For a different kind of recreation, have you ever tried the thrill of a basketball game? It’s a great way to unwind and add some excitement to your day. You might enjoy checking out Basketball Stars for some virtual hoops action when you're taking a break from the great outdoors!

  8. The standout feature of Ragdoll Hit is its physics-driven gameplay. Your character moves like a loose puppet, and every punch, kick, or jump depends on momentum and balance rather than strict controls.

  9. Wow, that sounds like an absolute dream! The image of sitting on the porch listening to the creek is so appealing. It reminds me of the simple joys, like relaxing and maybe even playing a few rounds of Suika Game on my phone while enjoying the scenery. Such a perfect spot to unplug and recharge. Definitely added to my list of places to aspire to!

  10. 43 acres bordering public land with a spring and building site near Wolf Creek sounds like a rare find. That kind of acreage with water access doesn't come up often in Montana. I used an image to video AI tool to put together a quick video walkthrough of similar listings for buyers who can't visit in person, works really well for rural properties.

  11. I really enjoyed this episode about Alfred Nobel and the discovery of dynamite. It reminded me how fascinating science history can be when explained in a clear, human way. If you’re looking for something interactive while learning, I recommend trying the Suika Game platform too—it’s fun, easy to start, and great for taking a break without feeling forced.
